New seasons are a fact of life — Quite literally, the seasons change 4 times a year.
What’s really beautiful about seasons is that they are constantly changing.
Cold, cool, warm, hot, warm, cool, and cold. Repeat.
The seasons of weather remind me a lot of the seasons in our life. Some days, it feels like a cool autumn breeze, and other days you feel like you’re in the dead cold of winter. One thing I know for sure is that those seasons will come and go. Life is all about going through the seasons, especially the hard ones, so that we can come out on the other side with more empathy, grace, and knowledge than ever before.
Spring is one of my favorite seasons because there is new life blooming everywhere we look. While we are constantly growing, Spring is a beautiful reminder of all we have accomplished and how far we’ve come.
When you’re feeling in a rut, get out a journal and jot down:
If you’re a visual person like me, create a seasonal vision board.
These can be words that you want to come to fruition in your life, pretty photos that you took on your disposable camera, or inspiration photos for your life. The goal of a seasonal vision board is that you will be able to look back on it & start to see those things become your life. When you start to look for the good, the good gets better. When you seek out joy, you will find it. When you set goals for yourself & reach them, you can look back onto that board & say,
“I did it. I made it. This is my beautiful life.”
I hope that you find beauty in each season & always remember how you got there.
Joyfully,
